In an attempt to revive our joy in running, Nikki from Slow is the New Fast and I decided to shake things up with weekly challenges. Our idea? A Mojo jar.
With 18 weeks to go until Goofy - each came up with 9 ideas of things we could both incorporate into one of our weekly runs. We exchanged lists and each week, we will be taking turns drawing the other's ideas to do that week. We will share them with our followers in case anyone wants to take us up on the challenge...
This week it was my turn to draw from Nikki's ideas...and this is what we get to do:
Ohhhh...good one. I think I have only ever managed this once or twice in two and a half years. In case you don't know what it is - running a negative split means running the last half of your run faster than you ran the first half.
Now I just need to figure out which run I am going to do it on...a weekday one? or do I hold out for one of my two 10k races this weekend? Stay tuned!!
