The Great Juice Cleanse of 2012 - Day One

I have a confession.  I miss chewing.  But otherwise, the first day of this experiment didn't go too badly.

I just focused on working and drinking lots of water (and the accompanying trips to the washroom from drinking so much water)

Breakfast: 1 Cup Black Tea (my coffee wean has ended but I am drinking tea this week to keep any residual headaches at bay).  2 cups Bolthouse Farms C-Boost
Lunch: 2 cups Bolthouse Farms C-Boost
Dinner: 2 cups Bolthouse Farms Green Goodness

Water consumed: 5L
Exercise: "Coffee Break" Arm Workout, walking to and from my parking and to my house from the approx 2.5k total.

was I hungry?  not really.  My stomach didn't resort to growling (which was what my coworkers went through). My thought on this is that I chose thicker juices (Bolthouse calls them smoothies - but I don't categorize them like that).  I think it  also helps that I am doing this during the weekday because I am not moving as much as I would be on a weekend - I can just take it easy.  It was hard to be around the house while the family was eating but I did it and now I can just relax for the evening.  We were going to go for a walk, but my ankle is tender after today's chiro appointment.  I'd better rest it.

In other news, my chiro is worthy of worship after today's treatment.  I have been having naggy knee pains since K100, but they felt like it was because I was compensating for an ankle that wouldn't bend.  Turns out I was right.  He fixed it.  I will smile forever because of it.
