Something to work on...

I've noticed lately that I am super snacky in the evenings - often snacking until 8 or 9pm.   And then I wonder each week why the scale isn't budging.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where my stumbling block is.  I am definitely going to bed with a stuffed stomach each night this week so far.

So - for the rest of January, I am going to work hard to shut down my snack-drive at 7pm...after that, no food shall enter my maw.  Call it a mini-goal.  An add-on to my resolutions.

Let's see if that makes a difference.  I bet it does!


  1. It will make a huge difference. The latest I have my evening snack is 7:30! It's always good to go to bed a little hungry :)

  2. I'm working on this too, every day is a challenge, and I mis-stepped last night, but aside from yesterday I'm doing well--and IT IS making a difference for me--I've lost 2.5 lbs so far. I have a lot to lose, so it's encouraging to hear about other people's struggles/ achievements/ methods! thanks for sharing :)

  3. Really wish I was doing better with this, two days in. Still super snacky. I think if I can get my butt onto the bike again in the evenings, it will be easier...

  4. K, pulling out the duct tape tonight at 7pm ... No more late night chow downs! :)
