Rediscovering Quick Oats

I keep buying quick oats for baking projects (not often...I'm not much a baker), but I usually stick to instant oatmeal for eating.  This morning, I discovered I was out of my instants so I decided to mike some quick oats instead.  Holy Hannah!  So yummy!   Way better than instant and just as easy.   No way am I going back :)

My fave oatmeal:

1 svg Quick oats
1 TB light peanut butter
1/4 c raisins
1/4 c soy milk

yummy yummy sweet and salty   Fills me right up and satisfies.  Not bad on the calorie front.

  1. Coming from the Tall Mom 1000+ club. I've never liked oatmeal, but I've taken a liking to it lately using the quick oats. So easy! I throw in frozen cranberries before microwaving. After it's cooked, I add cinnamon, brown sugar, and almonds. Delicious!
